Hannoverisches Gurken Gemuese (Braised Cucumbers)

INGREDIENTS:

2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Tablespoon Splenda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Large Cucumbers, Peeled And Cut In 2-Inch Pieces
1/2 Onion, Chopped
1 Tomato, Quartered
1/4 Cup Water
1/4 Teaspoon Dill Weed
1/2 Cup Sour Cream

DIRECTIONS:

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add Splenda and salt. Cook until lightly browned. Add cucumber and onion. Cook, stirring constantly, until onions are transparent. Add tomatoes, water, lemon juice and dill weed. Cook 10-12 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Serve immediately.
